The Clan Maclean Association is the original association, instituted in 1892. We are responsible for worldwide Direct Membership, the organisation of Gatherings and all central services in Scotland.

Clan Maclean Cetenary Gathering 2012

The Centenary Gathering of the Clan Maclean will be held on the Isle of Mull from Monday the 18th to Sunday the 24th of June 2012. Booking is available either online or via a form that can be printed from the website. We look forward to seeing you all in 2012!

Maclean Pipers for the Centenary Gathering at Duart Castle.

We would like to produce a Maclean Pipe Band (less Drummers) to play at the Centenary Gathering at Duart Castle on Saturday 23rd June 2012, so if you are coming to the Gathering and play the Pipes, please contact Colonel Donald MacLean via e-mail by clicking here.

We did this in 2002, when James MacLean the Chief’s Piper sent out a list of well known tunes to the volunteers in advance. This ad hoc Band did a few ten minute sessions on their own and then joined up with the Mull and Iona Pipe Band for the finale.

Clan Maclean Annual Scottish Gathering 2012

The Annual Scottish Gathering of the Clan Maclean Association will be held at the Glynhill Hotel, Renfrew on Saturday the 3rd of November 2012. A selection of photographs taken at the 2011 gathering will soon be available in the galleries section.
