Notes in margin of birth certificate : In an action relating to the paternity of a child, named Janet Hotchkis, born March 27th, 1860 at the instance of Ann Hotchkis residing at Carronshore Larbert, against Henry Taylor formerly residing there now in Glasgow, the Sheriff Court of Glasg on the 15th day of June 1860, found that the said child was the illegitimate child of the parties aforesaid.
