  	MRS. J.F.MCLAIN DIES THURSDAY AFTER ILLNESS! Mrs.J.F.McLain ,98 years of age passed away at her home of her daughter,Mrs.Cordie Simpson, 601 Barnes Street here at 6 o'clock Thursday morning following an illness of about four years.Mrs. McLain who was born in Missouri,had been a resident of Texas for the past 80 years. Mrs. Phoebe Miller McLain was born May 3,1847.She married James F.McLain,who passed away in 1929 and she was a member of the Christian Church at Anna,where she made her home for many years. SURVIVING THE DECEASED ARE FIVE CHILDEN; Hugh McLain of Frisco,J.J. McLain of Crowell,Mrs. Cordie Simpson of ths city,and Mrs.Docia Taylor of Crowell 23 grandchildren ,31 great grandchildren and three grear-great grandchildren. Funeral services were held at 3 0'clock at the Anna Christian Church Burial was held at Alexander Cemetery in Anna, Texas.
