Only one of the three children born in Canada. Born by elective Caesarean section in Kelowna General Hospital, Dr. Jim Dukelow attending. A very kind-hearted fellow, nature-lover, but one who can be very tough on himself. A bit shy but
very likeable. A wonderful satirical sense of humour A very quick wit Not very tall (about 5'8") but husky and strong. He has medium brown, wirey, naturally curly hair, & brown eyes. No allergies or health problems, except has a tendency to
vascular headaches like his mother. Has a screw in one ankle as a result of a fracture in his teens.Was tested as a small child for gluten intolerance by jejunal biopsy. Fortunately, it was negative. Handy at building and fixing things.
Was a cub scout and managed to get drunk on home-made wine on one cub camp-out and got sprayed by a skunk at another.
Excels at snow-skiing and water-skiing. Good swimmer. Enjoys racquetball and is fanatical about Tae Kwon Do and is aiming for a black belt. Has recently taken up white-water kayaking with his brother-in-law, Ray Schroeder. Somewhat of a
daredevil Loves boating, and camping. Enjoys the family cabin in the Hope-Princeton mountains.
Completed his schooling in Kelowna at Gordon Elementary School and Martin Elementary. During ages 15 and 16, got into some trouble for petty theft. Quit school temporarily, but straightened up wonderfully. Graduated from Kelowa Secondary
School, completed a mechanic's course and university entrance at Okanagan College and acquired a BSc degree from Simon Fraser University, Burnaby, B.C., in Communications and Biology. Very good at writing, stories and technical papers.
A computer enthusiast. - more or less self-taught. Ver knowledgable. Enjoyed playing computer games over the modem with his friend Rick Westmacott.
Was hired by the Hamilton Co. of the USA to work in one of the vehicle-emission testing stations in Coquitlam, B.C.. Steadily advanced in the company. In January/96, received another promotion, this time to the management level, out of
the labour union. His courses in communications and his computer knowedge have stood him well.
Has had many girlfriends and one long-time relationship but as of the present (Jan./96) is unattached.
He currently lives with 2 cats in Burnaby, B.C.
