Sir Lachlan Maclean visits Australia in November 2010
Sir Lachlan will arrive in Perth WA on 4th November where the WA branch will host him through until 9th November when he will fly to Adelaide for 2 days then to Melbourne before flying to New Zealand on 17 November and return to Australia in Sydney from 23 November to 28th November.
Each of the branches of Clan Maclean have prepared events for members to attend and have the opportunity to Meet the Chief.
In Melbourne Sir Lachlan's visit coincides with 175 years of settlement by Macleans where they were among the first settlers and pioneers of Melbourne and Hobsons Bay, Sir Lachlan will arrive by Tall Ship Enterprize, accompanied by Clan Maclean members and be welcomed to Williamstown where a commemorative plaque will be unveiled and a family afternoon of activities where all Macleans will have the opportunity to meet Sir Lachlan.
